Once upon a time, back in the medieval times, there was a caravan traveling across the land to get to a small village for shelter. In this caravan there was a bunch of people who didn’t really know each other very well, but all grouped together to travel to the new village. One of those people was a princess in disguise. She had brown wavy hair and had very defiant brown eyes that resembled a very dark amber gem. However she was dressed in rags and tattered clothes to travel in secretary. On her travels across the land she kept to her self and tried to just get through the trip with as little of interaction as possible. But there was this barbarian that kept harassing her. He could see through her disguise of tattered clothes, and he saw the princess as clear as could be, but he didn’t say anything because he figured the princess had kept it secrete for a reason. The barbarian would talk and talk to the princess telling her about all of his travels in his days and the princess would just listen and take in everything he said. As the trip was still long under way, other people would approach the barbarian to talk to him, but he was to busy with the princess, and he was fine with that. He was perfectly happy with just sitting with the disguised princess and trying to do everything in his power to make her happy.
The caravan was closing in on the village, but something wasn’t right. There was a strong smell of smoke in the air and in the distance there was a red and orange glow in the sky. Everybody knew something was wrong. When they reached the village the saw witness to the village burning and crumbling to ashes. When they tried to turn around, a group of bandits with torches came running at the caravan. The caravan was toppled over and the bandits looted as much as they could and started to take people captive. The princess was grabbed by one bandit and was starting to be hauled away, but the barbarian with tiger like reflexes lunged out of the caravan, and pounced the bandit, then unleashed a series of mighty blows on the bandit. The barbarian got up and threw the bandit aside, only to see a herd of bandits chasing after the princess. The barbarian’s adrenalin started to kick in and chased after them. The princess had a good lead on the bandits though, because she was very quick on her feet. She had been trained in the castle in the art of long winded running. However she was flanked by another group of bandits on horse. The bandits tied her up and rode off with her.
The barbarian could only watch as he witnessed this happen. For he was too late. He sighed to himself, grabbed his sword and charged after the bandits with all of his will. For he knew he had to rescue the princess, she had meant too much to him and he was going to save her. He ran off into the night after the bandits, following their trail and not taking any rests. He had to save her….

Purple Flower
Once there was a little purple flower. This flower was very pretty and many people liked to adore at the flower. It was strong rooted, well watered, and it was well kept up with. It was pretty much the perfect flower. However, one day a strong storm came in, and the wind carried in a bunch of debris, that landed close to the purple flower. The purple flower didn’t think much of it, until a few days later there were some other flowers that started to grow. The purple flower was suspicious about these flowers, because they were yellow and very ominous. The purple flower went on its business, trying to ignore the new incoming flowers, but one day something strange happened, they all turned into weird puff balls. The puff balls seemed to slowly deteriorate when the wind would blow by. The scattered remains would not go far, but the remains soon became other yellow flowers. The purple flower soon realized that it was in a bad situation, and these new flowers were not flowers at all, but weeds and they were going to end up killing the purple flower. To this knowledge the purple flower became very worried, and started to slowly sulk.
Over the course of many weeks, the purple flower was being drowned out by many weeds, and was slowly dying. But on the day when the purple flower thought it could take no more, a tree was planted right next to the purple flower. The tree was at first another nuisance to the flower, but as the tree got bigger, the flower realized that the weeds around the purple flower were starting to die off. The purple flower came to realize that the tree was sending its roots around the purple flower and intentionally killing off all the weeds, to protect the purple flower. The tree grew very tall and soon eliminated all of the weeds around the purple flower. The purple flower once again became happy, and vibrated its beauty to the world once again. The tree had taken such measures to clear out all the weeds with its roots, that it had formed a silhouette around the purple flower with its roots, to keep it safe from harms way forever. The flower after having the tree so close to it, never had to worry about getting hurt again. The End

Three Kittens
Once there was a dog that was a stray dog. The dog was a friendly dog, but was shunned from society because he was a stray dog and looked scruff to the people around him. He would go around in the alleyways and look for scraps of food that had been left out by the people of the city he lived in. Most of the time he found little morsels of chicken or something like that from what people had left on their plate the night before. However one night while walking down an alleyway, he saw a very large man with a white apron on. The dog walked up to the man as the man was going back inside from a large dumpster. The man looked at the dog and without hesitation shouted “get out of here mutt, shoo shoo”. The dog of course coward away to prevent any conflict from with the man.
However after the man had left, the dog peeked into the dumpster to see what the man had dropped into the dumpster. He peered in and saw a large white bag. Out of sheer curiosity the dog pulled the bag out and ripped it open to see what was inside. Inside the dog found a large, well cooked, untouched steak. The dog was thrilled with his discovery, because he had not been able to eat for days. He grabbed the steak and started to trot off to a safe place to enjoy his meal.
When the dog thought he was in a safe enough place in another alley way a couple blocks down the road, he set it down and started to get ready for his meal. Right before he could eat though, he heard a little rustle from behind him. Being cautious, he ran and hid his steak and went to investigate what the noise was.
The dog went and rummaged through the trash that was behind him and found a box with a bunch of holes poked in it. The dog used his nose to open the box, only to come face to face with three kittens staring him in the face from inside the box.
Apparently somebody had, had kittens and did not want them anymore and threw them into the garbage. The dog figured that the cats would not be a problem, so he went back to his steak and prepared to eat his steak.
The three cats had followed him back to his steak and sat in front of him and looked at him. The dog looked at them and turned away from them so he could eat the steak in peace. Until… one of the kittens stomach started to growl. The dog looked down at his food, and then over at the three cats who were now huddling together to stay warm in the cold of the night. The dog then let out a long, heavy sigh and turned back towards the kittens. He then went around then and individually nubbed each one closer to the steak to tell them to eat the steak.
The kittens jumped on the steak as if the hadn’t eaten in weeks. The dog then went to a nearby box and crawled underneath it for shelter for the night. As the kittens finished their meal the started to walk away back into the night. The dog was taken back by this, thinking they would show a little gratitude, and he got a little sad.
The dog curled up in his bed and got into as tight as a ball as he could to stay warm. A couple minutes later he noticed it had started to rain, and he was getting really cold. He was having a very bad night all together. He tried to fall asleep to just get through the night…
But right when he was about to fall asleep he starts to smell something really good. And opens his eyes. He opens his eyes to see the three kittens inches away from his face staring right into his eyes… and behind them, they had found, and drug a even bigger steak to him. The dog was curious, but the kittens then nudged the steak towards him, and he became really excited. The dog then ate the steak, and it was the single greatest thing he had ever eaten.
After his meal, the dog layed back down and planned to go back to sleep. To his surprise, the three kittens snuggled up close to him to keep him warm for the night. The dog was happy with the way his night had turned out, and was happy to of made his three new friends. The end

Lenny the Leaf
In a small suburban area there was a cul-de-sac at the end of a winding road. In the front yard of the smallest house grew a fern. On the top of that fern plant grew a single leaf, that leaf’s name was Lenny. Lenny was just like every other fern leaf, but he had a infatuation that could never be. Across the court from him resided a small cherry tree that Lenny could not turn from. Lenny wanted to be with this tree with all of his photosynthesis, but he was rooted in, and had an on going battle with a group of crickets that would ultimately be his demise. During the night the crickets would come and slowly eat away at his stalk. Most of his brothers had fallen to this herd already, and Lenny was sure that he was next on the menu for that night. Lenny had come to terms with his life though. He had lead a good life, providing glucose for his stalk and making shelter for traveling insects from the weather. In his final moments before the sun going down, he began to hear a low rumble coming at him. In his horror he saw a giant metal blade rotating, and coming right at him. Before Lenny could even think, he was laying on the grass, and slowly being sucked into a bag. In the bag he could hear the screams and yells of pain from the other plants that had had the same turn of events as he, but he kept his composer as he road along in the bag.
When the rumbling finally came to a halt Lenny was able to see daylight for a split second as he was dumped into a large brown crate. He was surrounded by death and decay in the giant container filled with victims of weeks earlier.
Lenny soon lost track of time in the vat he was being held in. he became week and struggled to live, but he kept thinking of that cherry tree, and how pretty her blossoms were in the spring. The thought of her was the only thing that kept him going.
Lenny finally saw daylight again, after what seemed like an eternity, only to be faced with another metal machine, but this one was much larger, and much louder. As he came closer and closer to the machine, he was sure this was the end. To his luck though, right when he was about to fall into the machine, a large tree branch fell on top of him. The machine sucked him and the branch up, and Lenny was put through the most gruesome torture he could imagine. He was ripped and torn, burnt and punctured, but after he made it through the machine, he still had most of his body intact.
Leaving the machine he was accompanied by a heap of hard substance, that Lenny assumed used to be the branch that took most of the damage for him. Lenny was then shoved into a bag with the remnants of what used to be plants just like him, and then sealed off into darkness yet again.
Lenny was now surrounded by silence and darkness. Most leafs would have gone insane by this, but Lenny had something that kept him going. The cherry tree Lenny was ‘Oh So Fond of kept him sane. However that only last for so long. Right when Lenny was about to give up hope, daylight is shown to him and he is thrown to the base of a sapling tree. The tree was still young and had not made a strong connection to a host yet, so it sat there as an empty shell waiting for another plant to take it over. While other some what intact leafs and plants were fighting for control of a potential new life, Lenny just laid back, to tired and week from his journey to even make an attempt. He had no hope, no aspirations to continue… until he realized were he was.
Lenny looked around, and across the way he saw the small little house in which he had grown up on. He felt a sudden rush, and besides the sapling tree he was at the base of, he saw the glorious cherry tree he had fascinated over for so long. He is totally stunned by his luck, and as he lay there marveling over her, a slight breeze rolls over and nocks a blossom off one of her branches. The flower floats down and lightly lays itself down on top of him. Lenny suddenly feels a jolt of energy, a drive to go on, and like a boss he over powers all the other challengers and takes control of the tree with ease.
Months pass and winter comes. Lenny still getting used to his new body, is content with his new life being so close to the cherry tree. He had never been so happy, until the snow came…
Lenny had grown strong quickly and was able to handle the snow, but one night during a snow storm the snow started coming off the roof, right on top of the cherry tree. In horror Lenny could only watch what was about to happen. Time stood still, and Lenny thought of everything that had happened in his life. He was about to lose the only thing that kept him going through all of his hard ships. In a last resort effort he bent and leaned as much as he could towards her. The snow came down on her and all he could do was hope it had been enough…
Spring came back around and the snow had melted. When the two of them were finally released from the clutches of the snow, the damage was evident. Lenny had been bent to far and was permanently placed in his bent position. The cherry tree though… the cherry tree had survived the snow fall, but only because Lenny had broken the fall and caught the cherry tree between his branches. She too was now in a permanently bent position, between Lenny’s branches. The two of them both survived the snow, but had to rely on each others support to survive now.
As the years went on the both became strong again and they no longer ‘needed’ each others support, but their branches had intertwined over the years and they grew very close to each other. They were easily mistaken as one tree for how close they had become with one another. Lenny could not have asked for more out of life.
Looking back on everything that had happened to get him to were he was now, he came to a conclusion that even through all the bad stuff that happens in life, there is a ray of what you want out of life as long as you don’t give up on it.

Blind
What is even real?
People trying to buy
People trying to sell
What is even original anymore?
It’s so hard to tell
We float through our lives
And we are oblivious to our ties
We think that everyone is an enemy
When all they want is a “hey, look at me!”
Everyone looking out for them selves
Never finding time to brush off their mental shelves
Living in the constant wonder
Of who next they can plunder
This world we live in today
Seems so full of dismay
The People are not United Under One Nation
But are depolarized by a political sanction
Children not even safe to play outside anymore
Because of the aggressions and sins that we seem to absorb
Our way of life has changed so much
Every emotion is maliciously tender to the touch
People lie and say that they are happy
But majority of our families dwell in the realm of crappy
Separated marriages by our “loving” parents
Making rule that “it’s okay” for their heritage
I don’t like what I see when I go into society
I get scared and I just want to flee
I don’t think this is going to change anytime soon
I just wish people would open their eyes and see this on coming doom

Ted The Grape
Once upon a time there was a grape on a grape vine. This grape’s name was Ted, and he was very small compared to his vine mates. All the other grapes made fun of him and hurt his feelings because of his small stature. Ted soon grew very sad and wished he was bigger than all the other grapes, so that he could show them a lesson. Days passed and nights fell and Ted stayed the same size as all the other grapes grew bigger.
One day however, Ted and the other grapes’ vine got picked up. All the grapes were stripped off of the vine… except for Ted. Ted was left on the vine because of his small size. Ted then watched in horror as his vine mates were put onto a platform to be sun dried into raisins or smashed to a pulp for juice. His vine mates were being tortured and he couldn’t save them… but he thought to himself all the times he had been harassed by all the other grapes, for the very reason in which they were taken for. He then chuckled to himself and went on with life. Ted was eventually disposed of to an outside garden. Ted took a liking to the garden. It was very lively and comforting. Ted decided he would live in this garden and submerged himself deep within the rich soil.
The little seeds inside of Ted however started to react when he went underground. Ted started to take root in his newly founded home. He began to absorb all kinds of nutrients from the surrounding ground and started to grow. He became very very big. But he no longer looked like a grape, but like a vine!
Soon afterwords Ted was having grapes grow on him and he was very proud. He looks back on the days of him being harassed by the bigger grapes, and he gets a good laughs out of it. Because he came to realize… being the smallest grape isn’t really all that bad.
~Moral of the story: No matter how small you are in life, if you surround yourself with what makes you happy, you will be big in your world and in those closest to you.

The Blue Jelly Bean
The Blue Jelly Bean
Once upon a time there was a jelly bean. This jelly bean was very lonely because he was the last blue jelly bean in the packet. All the red jelly beans and the yellow jelly beans would make fun of him and be mean to the blue jelly bean. The Blue jelly bean was not very happy and was very sad. One day a man had bought the bag of jelly beans at the movie theater, he had spilt them on the ground accidently and the blue jelly bean was one of those beans. The man played by the 5 second rule, so he quickly tried to gather up all the jelly beans he could see in the dark movie theater. He quickly saw all the red and yellow jelly beans because they caught his eyes with their bright colors they had. He swept them up and threw them in his mouth. However, the blue jelly bean was unnoticed because he blended in with the darkness of the movie theater. As he watched in horror as his fellow bag mates were consumed by the giant beast, he tried to think of what he could do... he was frantic for that he might be discovered. But to his luck this man was particularly clumsy and a splash of cola came crashing down and swooshed the jelly bean across the floor onto the row in front of where he was previous. The jelly bean was relieved because he had dodged his first problem. But he soon realized he had another problem at hand… the vacuum cleaner… he knew that after the movie, that foul contraption would be after him relentlessly and he would have no escape. He tried to start to wobble just to make it somewhere else… but right then, he was stepped upon and smushed onto the shoe of an infant. The bean was in excruciating pain, but he thought this was a sign from the chief upstairs for right then the child started to cry as an alien got decapitated by a Indian chieftain on the movie in the theater. And because the toddler was crying the adult figure with him was then forced to leave the area with the little snot. On the way out of the theater the bean managed to wiggle free from the light-up Scooby Doo sneakers that belonged to the kid… right into the crevice of a drain hole. The bean bounced and plopped its way through the tunnel. The never ending tunnel frightened the bean because he didn’t know what was going on, for the light reflecting off the water spray in the dark tunnel almost made it seem like he was Han Solo going through light speed. But he was finally able to gain his senses when he saw a very bright light at the end of the tunnel. He braced himself thinking it was going to be a train…. *Swoosh* the bean shoots out of the bright light into…water? The tunnel was a direct sewer lines that lead into the nearby lake. As the bean is flying threw the air he is beginning to think all hope is lost and that he is going to die. He hits the water, and because of his newly formed flattened surface he was able to skip across the water like a rock. He reaches somewhere near the middle of the lake and he starts to settle down with his skipping. He finally comes to a stop and he finds that he can’t sink because of his “wonderful” new shape. He sits there for days and the sun starts to bake him. His jelly insides start to turn hard and he starts to lose his transparency, he is in agony and he feels that the end is near. Finally a boat comes by sending a wave that topples him over causing him to sink. He slowly makes his journey down the blue abyss like a fishing lure waiting for a salmon to come get some. On his way down he notices that everything is blue down there and that he kind of blends in with everything. He finally hits bottom and he notices that there is other forgotten and random junk down there also. He notices a rusty old bike, and a old football trophy… and they all look blue… but not pure blue. He thinks to himself “everything down here… is like me”. The blue jelly bean rejoices in the new found home and learns to love the new life he has come about. For he has found a place where he belongs. Moral of the story: just because you haven’t found your place yet, doesn’t mean you wont.
